Gavin Burnett
Gavin qualified as a Solicitor whilst in employment in the Magistrates' Courts Service.
After nearly 18 years advising Justices of the Peace on law, practice and procedure in all areas of Magistrates' Court work, Gavin joined private practice as a Criminal lawyer specialising in Criminal law and Liquor Licensing Law. Gavin was a partenr at his previous firm based in Hampshire and now jointly heads up the Criminal Department at our Salisbury office with Richard Griffiths and is the Assistant Franchise Supervisor for our legal aid contract.
Gavin is a Duty Solicitor for both Police Station and the Magistrates' Court and has extensive experience of Criminal Defence work in the Court of Appeal, Crown Court, Magistrates' Court as well as in Prison law.
