Andy focuses on wills and probate and regulatory law. He possesses both analytical and interpersonal skills and is able to steer clients through the legal process with compassion and professionalism.
Andy excels at talking clients through complex issues during what can be an emotional time for them, for example when a relative has died and probate must be addressed. Andy can also help clients set up a Will and make financial strategies for the future, including using trusts and inheritance tax planning.
Andy’s regulatory work concerns privately funded criminal matters, defending individuals and organisations when they have been prosecuted. These have included investigations involving Trading Standards, the Environment Agency and the Department for Work and Pensions.
Andy often appears as a Higher Rights Advocate in Crown Court jury trials. He has extensive experience in dealing with serious criminal cases.
Andy is also the Chair and Trustee of the charity Transplant Sport, the largest national charity promoting activity post-transplant and the organ donor register.
