Ann has specialised in criminal defence for 20 years so has a great deal of experience to draw on, whether advising clients in the police station or making their case before the Magistrates’ Court or Crown Court.
Ann has particular expertise in dealing with cases involving young witnesses and young defendants. These are cases that need sensitive handling, particularly where the victim can be very young. Examples of cases involving young witnesses and young defendants include rape, unlawful sexual intercourse, indecent assault, assault, arson, harassment and robbery.
Ann also has specialist experience in dealing with animal welfare prosecutions and noise abatement cases.
Ann has always gone the extra mile when it comes to client care, and has launched private prosecutions against the police in order to protect her clients’ rights. Ann will not shy away from difficult cases.
