Chris acts for private clients in Residential Conveyancing and Property matters, as well as being involved with Wills and Probate. The majority of Chris’ workload comes from individuals buying and selling houses, with associated issues such as joint ownership and property disputes.
Chris has long experience in Inheritance Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney, and can advise on asset rearrangement for tax efficiency.
Chris is Salisbury born and bred, and has practised as a solicitor here for over 40 years. As a result he has a wide local knowledge which he draws upon and is able to cross-refer to previous cases, e.g. where flooding has been an issue in the past.
Chris has an aura of steady competence, and many of his clients are of long standing and from personal recommendations, showing the regard in which he is held.
